We are delighted to say that we hold a license from Harrogate Borough council to conduct civil marriage ceremonies at Skipbridge Farm. The ceremonies are held in the Willow Bower under the Willow tree and conducted by two registrars from Harrogate Borough Council.
We know the importance of having a top-quality bar, so the Rolling Barrel is a bespoke made, mobile bar with free of charge hire! The Rolling Barrel rolls perfectly into the side of the tipi. When we open the bar doors the guests are amazed to find a real life fully functioning bar. Our lovely staff serve quality reasonably priced drinks for you and your guests. As well as being able to cater for welcome drinks receptions, table wine and toast drinks.
Our Grain Silo is a special hidden space, open from 9pm to midnight. Let us tempt you in to indulge in a night cap! We welcome you to sit with family and friends old and new, to have a ‘wee dram’ of our best single Malt Whisky or one of our best Yorkshire Gin’s. Come and sit around the slumbering fire and soak up the atmosphere, sing along to the strains of a folk guitar, a truly memorable end to any wedding or celebration at Skipbridge Country Weddings.
Silo 3, our on-site pizza oven, will captivate your guests as blends seamlessly into the venue with rustic charm with modern elegance. Nestled within the trees and neighbouring The Grain Silo our state of the art wood fired pizza oven is sure to wow your guests with delicious pizzas. A truly memorable dining experience for your hungry guests!
Your family and friends can stay on site, so they are close to the heart of the wedding. We have six holiday cottages at Skipbridge for guests to stay in. Guests can stay for just one night, or for the whole weekend. When staying on site, friends and family don’t miss a thing! We also have beautiful Glamping accommodation.
Once a servicing Railway Goods Wagon, now a luxury, quirky and intimate space. Beautifully decorated and ideal for the newly married couple on their wedding night! Wally's Wagon has a full-size double bed and is heated by a small wood-burner. Wally's Wagon also benefits from its own en-suite bathroom with toilet, basin and shower.
Our cottages are set in a traditional courtyard and have been tastefully renovated from a former stable block and a granary building. They have retained their original character and charm to include traditional wooden beams and brick fire places..
Relish the joys of camping without any of the hassle! We provide a range of bell tents and bespoke wooden pods. All are dressed with a lovely rustic feel and beds are made with a real double mattress! We provide all necessary bedding, so your guests can simply arrive and enjoy!
